TRAVEL TO GUINEA - MOUNTS AND WONDERS

Guinea is, in Africa, the country of water and it is what was worth to him, at the first times of colonization, the beautiful name of Rivers of the South.

On the traces of Curdled Rene, this route plunges us in the middle of the legends peuls and soussous. Moving Lady by Mali, which top of its cliff contemplates bottoms funds which are spread out to Senegal with the monoliths of the beaches of the islands of Loos. This trek is a true immersion in the traditions of two ethnos groups which knew to keep their alive culture.

ROUTE - 11 DAYS

Day 1 : Paris - Conakry.
Arrival in evening. Reception on arrival, transfer and night at the hotel.

Day 2 : Conakry - Dalaba.
Departure the morning towards Dalaba. Change of landscapes and climate as we go up towards Fouta Djalon. Visit small town of Dalaba: old holiday at colonial time, it has an unquestionable charm with its colonial houses and its forests of pines. Diner and night at the hotel.

Day 3 : Dalaba - Ditinn.
Track towards the falls of Ditinn. Stops with the vegetable gardens and tasting of strawberries. Stroll with the falls where you will be able to bathe (according to the estiage). Diner and night at the hotel.

Day 4 : Dalaba - Labé - Mali.
Route towards Labé and falls of Saala. We will return visit to the tisserands and to the dyers installed on the roadside. Again, change of landscapes, many meetings in the villages. Diner and night in a camp-site in the village.

Days 5 to 7 : Rando in the hollows of Mali.
Departure of the trekking around Mali. Since the Loura Mount, 1500 meters, descent in the "hollows" by the mountain lanes. Landscapes of green hills, fields of cotton and fonio, villages and splendid vegetable gardens at the bottom of the steepsided valleys. Bathes in the cascades. Meetings with the tisserands, the teinturières, the blacksmiths… Nights under tents in the villages.

Day 8 : Mali, the legend of the Lady.
The lady of Mali, extraordinary face carved by the wind and the rains, is so beautiful that one cannot prevent oneself from building his own legend… Spare time to meet the inhabitants of Tensira, very fond of delicacies of contacts, to visit the school and to live with "Guinean". The day will finish in music and dance. Night in the camping.

Day 9 : Mali - Kindia.
Long roads from Mali until Kindia. Diner and night at the Bungalow hotel.

Day 10 : Kindia- Conakry.
Stroll with the market and last bathe with the falls of Kilissi before taking again the road on Conakry.
Diner at your conveniance and night at the hotel.

Day 11 : Islands of Loos - Conakry - Paris.
Day in boat in the islands of Loos. Transfer to the airport and take-off in the evening for Paris. Night during the flight.

Travel by minibus or 4x4 according to the number of participants.
French-speaking drivers and guides, cook starting from 5 people (the meals are prepared by the guide so less than 5 participants).
