TRAVEL TO GUINEA - RANDO DUGOUT AND MOUNT GANGAN

An artificial lake, with the foot of the Gangan Mount, isolated the villages from the Western hills, which have other ways only those of water and dugout to communicate with the outside world and to sell the products of their very rich orchards and kitchen gardens. A microcosmic, cordial, hospital world which will make us discover another lifestyle, with the variation of the world and time…

This voyage is carried out with the Guinean association Pal' abre, which, on this route, sensitizes the villagers with equitable and durable tourism.
With the villages concerned, Pal' abre takes part in the installation of integrated and self-managed in the long term small structures of reception, of which the incomes will be used to finance Community projects or infrastructures.

ROUTE - 9 DAYS

Day 1 : Paris - Conakry.
Arrival in evening. Reception on arrival, transfer and night at the hotel.

Day 2: Conakry - Kindia - Samaya.
Departure early the morning towards the interior. Large market of Samaya (Sunday), where the peasants come to sell their fruit and vegetables in the dugout, since the hills on other bank of the lake. Picnic at the edge of the lake. Exploration and bathe in the dugout. In evening, ball dust with the villagers, assured environment. Harms in camp-site at the edge of the lake.

Days 3 to 6 : Rando-dugout.
Accompanied by our guides and paddlers, we will cross the lake with incursions into the Western hills through villages and orchards. Daily bathes, cordial meetings and legends will be dawning these four of an unforgettable experiment. Nights in bivouac in the villages.

Day 7 : Mount Gangan.
Rise of the Gangan Mount then redescente on Kindia. Discovered city: the market, wood-carvers, teinturières…
Diner and night at the hotel.

Day 8 : Kindia - Conakry - Island of Tamara.
Route on Conakry. Arrival in the afternoon. Transfer in the dugout on the island of Tamara. To dine, music and dance… Night at the inhabitant.

Day 9 : Islands of Loos - Conakry - Paris.
Day of discovered of Tamara with association Headlight of Tamara, with its adorable small village, the old penitentiary and the headlight. Dugout towards the beach of Sorro, picnic prepared by association, containing fresh produce, fish, fruits, etc… and bathe. Return in end according to midday on Conakry. Transfer to the airport and take-off in the evening for Paris. Night during the flight.
