TRAVEL TO GUINEA - RIVERS OF THE SOUTH

An excursion in the middle of the legends peuls and soussous, in Low Coast it badly named.
The first buttresses of Fouta Djalon appear with 50 kilometers of Conakry and the Gangan Mount dominates Kindia of its 1100 meters.
A hard and beautiful area, with the variation of the tourist tours and less than three hours of access in the vehicle.

We carry out this voyage with the Guinean association Pal' abre, which sensitizes the villagers with equitable and durable tourism. With the villages concerned, Pal' abre takes part in the installation of integrated and self-managed in the long term small structures of reception, of which the incomes are used to finance Community projects.

ROUTE - 10 DAYS

Day 1 : Paris - Conakry.
Arrival in the evening. Reception on arrival, transfer and night at the hotel.

Day 2 : Conakry - Kindia.
Departure early the morning towards the interior. Large market of Samaya (Sunday), where the peasants come to sell their fruit and vegetables in the dugout, since the hills on other bank of the lake. Picnic at the edge of the lake. Exploration and bathe in the dugout. In evening, ball dust with the villagers, assured environment. Night in camp-site.

Day 3 : Kindia - Molota.

Day 4 : Mount Gangan - Kindia.
Transfer in the dugout to the foot of the Mount Gangan (1100 meters). Rise towards the plate and its villages surrounded by Community orchards. Meet with the villagers and tasting of fruits. Visit of Kindia and its spectacular market. Night at the hotel.

Days 5 to 8 : Solid mass of Molota.
Accompanied by our guides, we will cross the north-western/south-eastern solid mass to join the Kindia-Forécariah track towards Sikhourou where we will find the vehicles. Crowned cliffs, cascades, forests, places follow one another, between bush and forests. Few villages but the seasonal campings stockbreeders nomadisant with the liking of the pastures and the seasons. Daily bathes, cordial meetings and legends will be dawning these five of excursion in total autonomy with our caravan of guides and carriers an unforgettable experiment. Nights in bivouac.

Day 9 : Kindia.
We find the vehicles and join Kindia. Visit of a co-operative of fruit drying and of a workshop of musical instruments. Meet with associations of young musicians in evening. Night at the hotel.

Day 10 : Kindia - Conakry - Islands of Loos - Paris.
Departure early the morning to join Conakry and its port. Day in boat in the islands of Loos. Transfer to the airport and take-off in the evening for Paris. Night during the flight.
